Nice one.
Yes, and l was
exactly right when i said that. If you are unclear on my meaning, you are allowed to ask for clarification. But you are
not allowed to tell me what I meant by it.
Republican states currently comprise 8 of the top 10 worst covid states. That is not a one-off. See below.
The
site I linked to allows you to download the data spreadsheet (csv). I invite you to pick any 5 dates spaced a month apart, after the first wave, and compare states yourself. That's what I did below. Here are the top 10 states with highest death rates from covid (7-day moving average and normalized for population) on various dates.

1) I already gave you a source. Please stop repeating yourself.
2) Red states do not lead in overall total deaths for reasons explained previously.
3) Red states DO lead in death rates any time after the first wave.
None of the above.
1) I see no point in lying.
2) Misinformation is not a concern. The data comes from John Hopkins U.
3) Again, the data is from John Hopkins University, not my ass.
As I recall, at the time...
1) compliance with the mask mandate was poor
2) availability of masks was also poor.
3) our experience with avoiding and understanding covid was very limited.
Also, I offered no "excuses". You should probably start coming up with some though.
Yes. It's ancient history, as it came from a time period when we didn't have a clue what we were doing. We were beginners, sans beginners luck. Counting our very first encounter with coronavirus is very unreasonable of you and intellectually dishonest.
You are well aware...
1) That the entire area was ambushed by something we did not yet understand.
2) The area is densely populated.
3) And it is a major port for international travelers.
4) mask compliance and availability was low.
The perfect storm.
