I know some don't want to take the shot, and that's all well and fine. To each their own. I don't really want this thread to descend into another vaccine-good/vaccine-bad debate. We have enough threads about that.

Look, I get it that the WHO wants to vaccinate poorer nations, and those people are just as human as Americans, Israelis, and Europeans. But this is nutty. If the US is
making the vaccines, no global rule should determine that those vaccines have to go to South Africa before Americans can have a booster.

Does he not understand that we're helping other nations out of the goodness that is the United States? We're not obligated to do that and to do so while intentionally putting Americans at risk is completely unacceptable.
To me, this is an extension of all the white privilege baloney that claims if you have something (anything, really) you don't deserve it so give it up and suffer.
