I was pleased to see there was no kneeling.
I went against my own policy to not watch MLB to watch a little of this, just because I thought it was a cool premise. Which it was. Looks like this will be an annual game.

It just made me more irritated that MLB would spit on American tradition the way they did when they spit on Conservative voters in Georgia by moving their all-star game, and taking it upon themselves to spread the leftist racist narrative.

The Field of Dreams thing was kind of cool, but looks like the current game has too many homeruns. And I've heard talk about them lowering the pitcher's mound to give hitters more of an advantage. Whatever. MLB owes half the country an apology as far as I'm concerned. They'll have to do more than this to get me back as a fan.

Nice video...The folks that do the charity (last year of the Travis Roy games) wiffleball tournaments just added the Field of Dreams (a farmer friend gave them a bunch of corn stalks to complete the field) to Little Fenway, and Little Wrigley see pictures at link...

When young it was beyond imaginings that I would live as long as I am living but I did have moments of fantasy thinking of earning the right to be a true curmudgeon and get away with it ! Reckon' I've achieved it but
That movie and this clip returns me to my youth with memories of corn fields, cotton fields, and friends playing sandlot baseball.

oh, and MLB spring training was played on open fields not much better than sandlots; people could take blankets and chairs to sit on the sidelines to watch; players would stop and talk to those folk; MLB wages weren't all that good. Mickey Mantle sold State Farm Insurance during off season (well, that's what the ad said).

    meh ... moving on...
That movie has always touched the soul of this cranky old ****ard.

    Thanks Montana.
