Nothing new. I've mapped out a 2.5 mile hike around my house. For when I don't feel like driving to the San Antonio Greenways but just want to hike.
As I explain previously, I live backed up to a greenbelt just above a creek, so the first part of any neighborhood walk is uphill. Thing is, it went uphill, leveled out, then went back uphill. It's like an Esher painting, always climbing.
No pictures. It was cloudy at sunrise. Rained yesterday and humidity was at 90%.
Got to try out my new hiking shoes. They are perfect.
2.5 miles in about 45 minutes. A calculator says 3.33 miles per hour.
Anyway, good to get out.
Meanwhile planning my next Greenway hike to Devil's Den. It's off the main greenway. Mountain bike paths show a combination of Deception and Limbo Trails. Maybe tomorrow!
