Florida has been #1 in covid deaths per day for most of the last few months.


What's new is that now they are #1 per capita as well.

Still no sign of any movement to decrease the carnage.

Mississippi now has the the second highest death toll per capita. Even more than New York. Only NJ is higher.

A friend of mine just had his 90 year old mother pass away. She had serious health problems. Over the last couple of years she had multiple strokes. Recently she had another stroke. She was hospitalized and not expected to live more than another day or two. They moverd her to a hospice. There she tested positive for COVID and passed away. Her death certificate said that she died from the virus. He's going through the chanels to correct the record.


I wonder how many cases are just like that?

Yeah, the gubmint was paying a certain amount of money to the local people (Medical Examiners and such) in charge of reporting causes of death, for every deceased being reported as dying WITH Covid, not necessarily FROM Covid.

My Mother passed away with Covid, but she died from other causes.

I don't know about money exchanging hands, but what I do know is that well into the start of the COVID Crisis last year the default was that if terminal patients tested COVID positive then they died of COVID. Medical professionals were silenced under pressure to conform.

As soon as something is reported that exposes bad policy or practices, you will see the chaff dispensed to prevent it being as noticeable in the media.

Earlier I could find any number of different sources swearing to the facts and figures mentioned here by Mr. Jensen. But now it is muddled and confused.

That's not quite right.

Only Medicare patients qualified for the increased fee, and it had to be a "documented" case, not one that was considered as secondary to the death. But for those who actually qualified, the facility was compensated approximately 20% more. The penalties for fudging are severe and include criminal charges and/or removal from Medicare coverage, so any cheating was kept to a minimum.

That said, there has been over-counting of the cases for a number of reasons that are not associated with the Medicare supplement.

Trump was right when he said widespread testing was giving us high positive numbers, but he was unable to successfully explain the issue, so liberals used it against him--claiming he was for letting the virus run rampant.

I just compared a coronavirus map of Florida against electoral map of Florida.

All the heaviest corona counties are Republican, because of course.
