LOL. What did you do? They would only expel us if we brought guns to school.

Yet somehow you still succeeded in life, eh? of course you did!

By 16, I was unceremoniously ousted from three high schools for such things as general mischief, smoking in the boy's room, smoking on school property, not keeping my shirt tucked inside my pants, wearing heel saver metal plates on my shoes, hair too long... not long hair mind you but if I didn't use Brylcream to slick it back it would fall across my forehead!

My savings grace, such as it was, my grades were near or Honor Roll status...

I gave up .... finished at adult Night School; where I had similar challenges...

I was a ward of the state then emancipated at 15; I had to work and pay bills to stay in school... so sometimes I didn't show for class....

Back then, teachers were professional; they cared. They inspired to overcome! When I missed class, they let me know, me missing some knowledge might bring the world to a stop in the future; I owed the world and mankind the duty to show up for class....

    The good old days....
sorry folks... slipped off into a tangent... a positive one... but a tangent.

    Happy day to all!
