Pentagon Exempts Pregnant Women From COVID-19 Vax Mandate.....

Biden admin urges pregnant women to get jab, safety will not be known until 2025

Pregnant or breastfeeding women in the military will qualify for an exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, a move at odds with the Biden administration's messaging campaign to inoculate all Americans ages 12 and older.

Military guidelines exempt pregnant or breastfeeding troops from every vaccine requirement, except for the flu and tetanus shots. The Pfizer vaccine will not be added to the list, according to a Pentagon spokeswoman, which would allow servicewomen to opt out of the COVID-19 mandate upon request. The policy stems from the fact that federal regulators have yet to complete studies into the Pfizer vaccine’s efficacy and safety for lactating and pregnant women.

The FDA did not sign off on Pfizer's proposed clinical trial on pregnant women until July 1—just weeks before the agency gave the pharmaceutical giant full approval. Pfizer has until 2025 to return results of the study to the agency.

"Everything that applies to previous vaccines applies to this one in terms of what people can request exemptions from," a Pentagon spokeswoman told the Washington Free Beacon. "We’re not creating a new standard of practice. This will be like any other required vaccine and again for exemptions this will be case by case vaccine by vaccine."

According to the U.S. Army’s Medical Readiness Procedures, a pregnant soldier "is exempt from all immunizations except influenza and tetanus-diphtheria and from exposure to all fetotoxic chemicals noted on the occupational history form." The Pentagon said military branches will follow existing guidance on granting exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine......snip~

Thats Right Deviant Biden even wants pregnant women to get the jab. Despite not knowing the safety for pregnant women. The Pentagon didnt ask they just told the Deviant how it will be.

So the Pentagon will exempt Pregnant women. Religious exemption. But thats about it. Now they say they will take benefits from Marines if they dont get vaccinated.

Memo: Military Threatens to Revoke Benefits From Marines Who Decline COVID Vaccine

Officer spells out harsh 'repercussions' for troops as Pentagon announces vaccine mandate

Marines will lose their pensions, tuition assistance, and access to the G.I. bill, along with other military benefits, if they refuse the COVID-19 vaccination, according to internal emails reviewed by the
An Aug. 18 email from Col. Teague Pastel, a commanding officer at the Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C., told colleagues that although "vaccines are still voluntary," the military believes "they will become mandatory in the near future." The penalties for refusing the coronavirus vaccination, Pastel wrote, should be in line with others for insubordination. Those penalties include "administration separation," a demerit in the Marine's personal file, as well as the forfeiture of various retirement and financial benefits.....snip~

Pregnancy is super unique. I know pregnant women who are getting vaccinated and are not concerned, and I know women who opted to wait. The side-effects can be pretty intense and although it would likely not be harmful to a fetus it is not something every pregnant woman wants to risk. Specific example, fevers in pregnancy are known to be bad. Past issues with drugs also make women hesitant (e.g. Thalidomide). The development of the fetus is also an exceptionally unique biological phenomenon where we don't fully understand how day to day exposures to common household chemicals and objects impacts it, nonetheless a new vaccine. No reason to assume it's bad, but understand why some women are being very cautious.

However, the counter argument would be that Covid-19 in pregnancy could be really horrible and have lasting effects on the fetus. UTIs have been linked to schizophrenia and psychosis, for example. Staph infections in general have been linked to psychiatric illness. Previous epidemics have always been followed by increased neurodevelopmental and psychiatric illness in children born to mothers who had been sick during pregnancy. It's honestly terrifying to think about what a case of mom's Covid could look like in kids in 2-12 years... my field is kind of excited about it in a perverse way since we obviously can't experiment on children but we can watch people longitudinally to see what happens.

That doesnt change up the fact that safety will not be known until 2025. Nor does it change up the fact that Biden wants pregnant women to get the jab.
