As a Company Commander in the early '80s I attended hundreds of Captain's Mast proceedings (non-judicial punishment, known as Office Hours or Article 15 in the other Services), and I have to say that one consistent difference I noted between Black and non-Black sailors facing charges was their attitude and demeanor. Whereas most sailors in that situation were (or at least appeared to be) repentant and were unfailingly respectful as they stood before the C.O., a great number of the Black sailors appeared angry and surly, glaring at the C.O. and having to be reminded to address him respectfully. Of course that wasn't always the case, but it happened quite a lot.

--I had Captains Mast 2 times and I'm white!! when I got to my first duty station, they got rid of 5 Marines for drugs ...3 were white....we had 2 Marines that got out on ''pyscho'' evals = 1 was white and 1 was black

..1 for getting a very bad sun burn and the other time he lost a rifle on a night time evasion course....he tried to cheat by swimming across a waterway...he was kind of heavy and let go of the M16

Me too. The first time I was so nervous, standing before the old man, my Leading P.O. told me later he thought I was going to pass out or have a heart attack. Both times I was as respectful and repentant as I could possibly be, and I got off fairly lightly. If I'd stood there glaring at the skipper and forgetting to "sir" him, that might not have happened.

Yeah, I did. But, that doesn't change the fact that thinking that affirmative action is the problem when evidence shows that Blacks get disproportionately fewer promotions is, at bottom, a complaint that there are too many Blacks in the Air Force.

Affirmative Action dimwad means the recipient gets promoted or special privileges strictly based on his "victim status" and not on his abilities. When it comes to leadership in fighting and killing race and being "woke" doesn't count for much. Ivan will shot a white man dead just as quickly as a black man.
