Natural immunity already does all of that.

A lot of people who think they're in "good shape" actually aren't.

Exactly. All the reasonable precautions we took in the past - staying home if you're sick, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze, washing your hands, etc. - are still the best and most practical way to deal with this virus. And being healthy - mostly through good diet and exercise - are still the best ways to protect yourself from disease. I cannot believe that the government and the media have actually brainwashed people into believing that those things stopped being true in 2020.

Natural immunity, that's a thing. Same as a vax shot, only better.

I do think some demographic groups should probably get vaccinated. They would include the elderly and the sickly (includes the obese) but this is one area where I agree with your observations regarding social and political conformity. Vaccination has a strong ritualistic element to it. That's probably why the Covid cultists abandon science and reason altogether when pressed.

    Why should I get vaccinated?

Don't you care!? What kind of monster are you!?

They make these creepy emotional appeals. $#@! is weird.

He's not morbidly obese or old, he's at virtually no risk of dying from Covid. Darwin Award? Lol, he'd have a higher chance of being struck and killed by lightning.

He's trying to guilt you and others into getting it because he's at high risk, its all about him. Never mind the fact that if he's vaccinated he's safe according to the CDC and others, which makes his desperation make no sense whatsoever.

People are dying because 2/3rds of the country is overweight or obese. And even then, if the virus was worth anything, it would be killing the unhealthy off at a greater rate than it is. Americans want the right to eat ice cream and McDonalds with impunity, but they expect you give up your bodily autonomy and even assume needless risk to save them from the live choices that made them sick in the first place.
