As to the Democrat/Republican thing, you were the one who provided the link. I was just pointing out the omission of identifying anti-segregation with Democrats like Biden back then. There is no such connection to the religious right since then. Moreover, Catholic opposition to abortion goes way back further than any moral majority. And many of the pro-lifers on this forum are atheists. My argument is from science and the Declaration.

It'd be good to see your sources. They're not accurate, or you're not. The pro-life movement is bigger than Evangelicals, includes Catholics, atheists, and many more.

Social cons was a term we used back when Bush Jr was President. We used it disparagingly for liberal--his being liberal and all, often as socialist con.

Why is it that many people who claim to be "pro-life" will fight to the bitter end in order to save the life of an unborn child, yet once it is born they could care less whether-or-not it lives. These are the same pro-lifers who claim that human life is so precious, yet support the death penalty in this country. Oh the hypocrisy.

Nice try but we give them all medicaid. We give them meals at school. w give poor parents payments to buy them food. No doubt that momma sometimes uses that money for dugs or alcohol.

I would challenge the science on this. If a two week old fetus could survive outside of the womb then I might agree with the science.
