Good question on C=Span; do you favor raising the debt ceiling?

For me...for only one year and include that starting in Jan 2022, the "budget law" be followed by Congress. This crap of waiting until the end of the fiscal year with no budget and try tooperate the nation on Continueing Resolutions should STOP.

    No.

Emergency cuts in spending is what should happen. Starting, of course, with Congress' pay, then temporary reductions in government workers pay, a small *temporary* retroactive tax on Congress to offset the costs of the Congressional bennies.

Then Congress is required to provide a annual budget that does not exceed the previous budget of 2001 by more than 10% within 30 days or an additional 10% reduction in government workers pay for every 30 days a budget is not presented and passed.

I thought it was canceled under DJT. Quite frankly, it is useless. The presses are running 30/10. When the gov shuts down only the USCG doesn't get paid. Everyone else gets another paid vacation. Until we elect responsible people nothing is going to change. I would venture out of 535 there are less than 30, that I would invite for dinner. There are dirt bags, scum, cretins, and legislators.

Congress has taken advantage of loopholes to keep from having any budget. They now do such dishonest things as put "abortion" legislation into a so called Infrastructure Bill. Save??? They don't know that word...just look at the Billions the are spending to have our border open.

Biden is spending money "to not build the wall". How stupid is that!

No.....and the Repubs are standing together on it. Saying no! For a change and some spine. Schumer is trying to say its paying the Trump debt. As usual the Deviant lies. Avoiding the 6+ trillion that the Deviants spent. The Deviants want the stop gap measure to run until Dec of next year while raising the debt ceiling with nothing set. Until they can get their Spending bill passed.

The Demos plan is to blame the Repubs for shutting down the government. So expect the cries of the children not having diapers and baby bottles, puppies wont have milk. Seniors wont have food. Plus whatever the Lametards can come up with.

McConnell.....says the Repubs arent playing the Deviants game. Its all on them. Repubs arent even at the Table. Nor will they come to the table. Demos are into it with each other as to what to do. They have the House, Senate and the WH so they can fix it. The Deviants own the mess.

No to the continuing resolution. I hate to not be able to give the details consideration but the government has shown they cannot handle a budget. They cannot pass a budget. This is bi-partisan.
The Federal Government should not be funding private companies and technologies. The Federal Government should not be paying for local parks. The Federal Government should not be funding welfare and health care. These and many others are local and state issues.

The Federal Government should be reduced by 1/3, at a minimum.

How Congress acts has to change, or we will continue down this same road. They play their games, like putting funding for Israel's Iron doom into a Bill of much controversy. Hours then spent on another Bill to fund Israel's need, which both parties agree on.
