That is where it came from. The military didn't want to do it.

If it is established that previously recovering from the virus gives you an immunity level equal or greater than the vaccine, the vaccine is not necessary and should not be required. If the service member has not previously beaten the virus and developed an immunity and just doesn't want the vaccine, he should be required to take it or face charges.

What the service member wants is of no importance. What matters is that the force is ready to deploy at maximum strength and efficiency upon demand.
I buy the bulk of that message but that line stops somewhere. We accommodate religious, gender related and many other exceptions all the time.
I can see them saying that you have to do it or you are out but not causing them harm with charges.

That is not up to the military to decide. If he issues an order that is unlawful, they have an obligation to refuse it, but that is it. They don't get to decide if the President is fit for office. That is not their call.

So, the thread title is an outright lie, as is fairly normal with Trump cultists. Biden said no such thing. The piece the OP cites just made that up, because that's what cult liars do.

Vaccine refusers will get an admin separation and an Other-Than-Honorable discharge, which is appropriate when a servicemember refuses orders and acts in a manner which endangers the health and welfare of other service members. A dishonorable discharge is reserved for felony-level offenses.

In all, it's a good thing to see this. The worst of the fascists and the hopelessly incompetent are self-separating from the military, which is a win for America.

From someone who swore up and down there weren't any vaccine mandates, who sees it as a 'good thing', you do realize that not being injected does not 'endanger' those that have chosen to be injected? Getting your actual facts straight would be helpful for you.

I'm mighty glad that people who think as you do are not the majority.

That is one of the things I have yet to figure out.

If the vaccine protects you and you are vaccinated, what difference does it make if someone else refuses the vaccine?

I have been vaccinated for months. Because of my business, I thought it was the prudent course of action. That was my decision for myself. I have encouraged my employees to get vaccinated, but I would never even consider requiring it. That choice should be up to them. As long as they understand the risks of both being vaccinated and not being vaccinated and are capable of making an informed decision, they should not be forced into an action regarding their own health care, whether by law or policy.

I said nobody is mandating forced vaccines. That's a different thing. English, learn it. And if you try to deflect the conversation into a mind-numbingly boring discussion of what "is" means, I'll laugh and point out how dishonest and desperate that is.

who sees it as a 'good thing', you do realize that not being injected does not 'endanger' those that have chosen to be injected?
Of course it does. Vaccines aren't 100% effective, and viruses mutate, so unvaccinated plague rats put everyone around them at risk. This is basic medical science and basic logic.

I'm mighty glad that people who think as you do are not the majority.

But we are. As evidence, check out how your side's predictions of vast numbers of refusers have failed to pan out. And so your minority shrinks even further.

What does the future hold? None of your side's hysterical predictions of vaccine side-effects will pan out, because they're all based on fantasy. Your side will look more and more ridiculous. Some will quietly leaves the antivaxxers, while others will go deeper down the conspiracy rabbit hole, and keep making ridiculous claims all the data is faked. In any case, it doesn't look good for you. If I were you, I'd quietly slip into the jungle before they roll out the koolaid vat.

As usual you dont have a clue. Especially about anything and everything with the Military. So rather than come with some of those smart powers you claim to have. You just flat out lie.

The move comes about a month after Pentagon leaders announced plans to make the vaccine mandatory for all service members. Navy and Marine officials announced this week that sailors and Marines will need to be vaccinated in the next 90 days or risk punishment. Army and Air Force officials have yet to announce a timeline.....snip~

Hmmm, What move is some Democrats and Republican making. Lets see.

Dishonorable discharges for vaccine refusal would be blocked under congressional proposal......

Service members who refuse to get vaccinated against COVID-19 would not face dishonorable or other-than-honorable discharges under a plan approved by a House panel on Wednesday.

“I believe that the military should be able to require these vaccines, and I think every person of sound judgment in this country should take a vaccine,” said Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala. and ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee. “However, if somebody in good faith in the military says they can’t do it, they shouldn’t be stained for the rest of their lives with a dishonorable discharge.”.....snip~

Of Course the Leading Repub on the Armed Services Committee is saying all of this. Just because he was worried about a lie. Worried about much of nothing. Believing $#@! was made up.

Naturally in reality he and the few Democrats that are about preventing a dishonorble or Other than Honorable just wanted to make Mamooth look like a complete Idiot.

The proposal was included with Democratic and Republican support in the committee’s draft of the annual defense authorization bill, a massive budget policy measure that has passed every year for more than five decades.

Navy and Marine officials announced this week that sailors and Marines will need to be vaccinated in the next 90 days or risk punishment. Army and Air Force officials have yet to announce a timeline.

Troops who refuse can face various types of punishment, including dismissal from the service.

Other types of reprimand besides dismissals, such as reductions in rank, would still be allowed under the measure.
Democrats on the committee expressed some reservations about reductions in punishment for insubordinate troops at a time of a national health crisis, but ultimately agreed with Green’s proposal. But they said they hoped it would not discourage vaccine acceptance.

So now that we know that Mamooth will be dishonest and outright lie to support the Deviant Party. It should be remembered anytime this illiberal opens its piehole.
