Gov. Abbott Signs Executive Order Banning Vaccine Mandates.....

Gov. Greg Abbott (R) signed an executive order Monday that prohibits any "entity in Texas" from enforcing COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Abbott's order states that businesses in the state cannot require a proof of vaccination from those employees or consumers who object to the shots for "any reason of personal conscience."

"The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, & our best defense against the virus, but should always remain voluntary and never forced," Abbott said in a statement......snip~

Now The Rest of the Republican Governors should do the same. Then turn around and tell Biden and the leftness to go $#@! themselves.

I have no faith in our R leaders, might be why I am a independent. Southwest airlines, isn't their headquarters in TX. Lets see who folds first. He claims to be a Christian but not once has he ever said, Christian haters are not welcome in our state. But he does it for other religions boldly. The little in season man.

Yep. But they did make their move before Abbott came out with this EO. Which he has put it on the Legislative Docket for the Special Session. Wherein he wants the Texas legislature to make it a law.

Then he can go after SW.

Abbott's order has nothing to do with him or religion.

    It is a declaration.

Texas and Texas business vs. the Fed. Gov't.

Southwest is contracted to the U.S Gov't.; meaning they fall under Joe's E.O.
This will be a very interesting "battle".

It has everything to do with Religion. Southwest is denying Christian exemptions only. If it were another religion, it would be headlines. They would be marching in the streets.

Religion is not the crux of this situation.

The important point of the confrontation is Joe's E.O. that is the Federal Gov't. usurpation of a Federalist government system.

Said usurpation overrules States rights and by extension the individual rights of that state's citizenry.

It's imperative that Texas prevail in this matter.

The Federal administration has knowingly violated
The Constitution of The United States of America.

    @roadmaster @MMC

    Additionally:

The Administration's creation of this situation is:

Example of Federal influence/control over business by threatening the loss of revenue from the Gov.

An interesting aspect of this is also Federal law... The fiduciary, criminal and civil, responsibility for corporations to make maximum financial returns for their investors.

SW is trapped in a no win situation.
Opposing the Feds has no positive outcome no matter the direction.
Opposing the State is the same.

O.S.H.A. requires that employers must provide a safe and healthful workplace that is free from known hazards.

Where do we draw the line in allowing sick employees into the workplace?
A sick person spreading the virus or infection they have to fellow employees is counter productive.
Paid sick leave for infectious viruses might be a good solution.
The reason sick people come to work is they can't afford not to.

    Oh does Osha do that?

Where was the line drawn with people showing up to work with the flu? Where was that line the last 20 years or so?

Yet sick people showed up to work causing others to get sick for decades. Thats even people who got flu shots.

Most Businesses didnt send people home for being sick.
