Why would anyone anticipate gas prices going back down?

Rising gasoline prices are taking a toll on the finances of middle and lower-income families. Gas prices in the U.S. have gone up significantly in 2021 and have continued to move upwards in September. When will gas prices go down?

The current Administration wants higher gas prices to push people to electric vehicles.

The current administration has effectively killed exploration and permitting.

Older wells will continue to be shut down in the US and not be replaced.

So why is anyone pretending this is a short term supply type issue.

Russia and Iran say thank you.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

Oh, and I have no idea when/if prices will go down, but it's nice to know your options, especially if you have a larger vehicle...

Gas prices are roughly 15% higher in New York than they are in Texas.

Because New York is controlled by Democrats and Texas is controlled by Republicans.

If you vote for Democrats, then you are voting for significantly higher energy prices. That is the bottom line.

It is always funny when they want to go electric. Like that energy doesn't come from coal to charge the battery. I can tell you now we don't need to tax the power grid more at this time. Not even to save the planet from blowing up in 5 years (LOL)
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Another way to think about it: If you spend $100 on gas in Texas, you have to spend $115 to get the same amount of gas in New York. $15 can buy you roughly 2-3 pounds of ground beef. Democrats are taking food right out of your mouth so they can stuff it in their own fat gullets.

I simply cannot imagine that this will ever happen.

In the world of physics, it is fair to note that what goes up must then come down.

But as it relates to prices...well, that is quite another matter...
