This line of thinking that the US can have a unilateral material effect on the global economy is folly. Certainly some things can be done but to lay all of this at Biden’s feet 9 months into his presidency is uninformed and silly especially in light of the global pandemic.

Foreign ownership of US corporations is over 50% between direct foreign corporations partnerships and regular investment.

There are many US companies that you do not know are foreign. The foreign companies just own the stock. That way the liabilities end in the USA for them.
