    I did not directly quote an article.

    I am a historian and do have software which pops up particular events from history daily.
    I wrote the little snippets myself.

    If you must know the info I rely upon ---> https://www.onthisday.com/history/ and wikipedia.

    I am also a semipro photographer and am well versed in copyrights and make effort to respect them.

    On October 16, 1934, the embattled Chinese Communists break through Nationalist enemy lines and begin an epic flight from their encircled headquarters in southwest China. Known as Ch’ang Cheng—the “Long March”—the retreat lasted 368 days and covered 6,000 miles, more than twice the distance from New York to San Francisco.
