    Heard on tv that manchin is considering switching to independent over being pressured to vote for Bidens spending plan which he opposes..

    That move would work for him. It would make him the most powerful man in the Senate and his state is Republican that already votes for him as a individual, not the party. He cannot switch to Republican because he would be primaried by real conservatives.

    Where does the 60 trillion figure come from? (The original figure was 3.5 trillion--which even President Biden admits, now, unattainable. I have read that Sen. Manchin agreed with Sen. Schumer, a few months ago, that the former would go along with a 1.5 trillion figure--but no more.)

    Future unfunded liabilities. These figures they throw out are complete bull$#@!. For instance, family paid leave. They only calculate it out a couple of years, but once it's law, taxpayers are on the hook in perpetuity.
