I admire the attempt at objectivity. And I cannot believe i am gonna fight you on this but why would someone from that crowd choose to detonate a flash bang (or whatever that was) within the crowd? Wouldn’t they throw it at the police? It makes no sense.

It does not matter though. The crowd was already trespassing once they muscled passed the capital grounds barricades and climbed into the bleachers. They were subject to police action at that point. This idea that “flash bangs” started violence is nonsense. When you break laws, you become responsible for how things escalate from there on.

Why would the media have buried this video if they could have blamed the multiple flash bang detonations on the protesters?

It is unlikely that any conservative placed sound grenades in his own crowd. we do have to remember that antiFa was there for the left. Watching video on John Sullivan at the capitol he was seen trying to incite the crowd. We also know about the pipe bombs that were placed outside both campaign offices and that has antiFa written all over it.

So there is that possibility.

However since they withheld all the video and evidence with the public then that says the government is almost certainly lying and responsible.

It actually makes a great deal of sense if you are an instigator trying to trigger an incident.

If it was "undoubted", there would be no questions to be asked. There are questions, so it it is not "undoubted". Why would the police deploy flashbangs in the middle of the crowd, when that would only cause them to surge forward? If they were going to deploy them (and a flash bang makes no sense in that particular situation), they would deploy them against the front rank to make them turn back.

It does matter. Trespassing is not the same as rioting. The video suggests that the crowd was nonviolent until the detonation of that device.

The OP does not say anything about the police not having a right to use force to disperse an unlawful crowd and I agree, only that they made a choice and Capital Police behavior had consequences.

Uh, the OP says that cops doing their jobs started the insurrection. As far as I know, other groups who have rioted and attacked have been "dispersed" the very same way. So you're deceit, like that in the OP won't hold water.
