    FBI got all the cash back from the Colonial Pipeline hack...because digital currencies are not trackable? In fact, ownership belongs to the current key owner, i.e. very easily tracked as the block chain grows.

    Yeah, like I said, you can track to which account the money goes to... I can do, that's open for the public to see... How do you track the person who created the account? Obviously, if you're a criminal with any sense, you'll cover your tracks. (Like using TOR to create the account for illegal activity and whatnot) Then there are cryptocurrencies like darkcoin that can't be tracked which will probably be the go to currency (If it isn't already) for the criminals...

    I don't think any legislation will be useful here.

    This would impact in a negative was virtually every American who has a bank account or a job. It gives the federal government justification to snoop into your private business. No one should support this totalitarian idea.
