These new bombers will be much more stealthy and powerful than the old B-2

Will the Air Force Really Build 180 B-21 Stealth Bombers?
The new bomber will help replace its aging predecessor and help maintain detterence. But can the Air Force afford to end up buying as many B-21s as they would like?

OP Comment: The old B-2? "Old"? Good grief Bush had them built, they can't be that old can they?

Development started in the Carter Administration.

A lot of tech advances since then.

As I understand it this will replace 3 aircraft. The B1, B2 and B52. The B52 fleet is the oldest and largest. They date back as far as 1955. Cut when they upgraded them recently, then thy justified it by saying they would be good for another 30 years.

I wonder if this has more to do with new tracking and laser weaponry from China and Russia, that makes the B2 a sitting duck.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

I am sure that is a major part of it.

Sounds good if the AIR FORCE has anyone to fly them after the mandates.

Every weapon is best used in accordance with its capabilities and limitations. A B52 is fine after air defenses cease to exist in a given locale.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
