Coffee and Tea Linked to Lower Risk of Stroke and Dementia in 11-Year Study

FYI: Coffee and Tea Linked to Lower Risk of Stroke and Dementia in 11-Year Study

New research out this week suggests that a tea or coffee habit in your later years could help your brain stay in tip-top shape. The study found that healthy older adults in the UK who regularly drank coffee and/or tea were less likely to develop stroke and dementia over an 11-year period than those who drank neither. Though these findings can’t confirm a cause-and-effect link, they are the latest to indicate that these brewed drinks have some health benefits....

Time for a delicious cup of coffee.

The "science" isn't definitive but any benefits that tea provides are gravy. I drink 4 cups on average. All kinds. Pu-erh, black, oolong, green and white.

That would be coffee and tea. Not sugar, fake sweeteners, and gut busting trash tossed into the coffee and tea. If you must taste something sweet at stevia.

Black coffee sucks. I use Stevia......and a flavored creamer and, because those so called "natural" creamers taste lousy, I use the Coffee Mate Pumpkin Spice.

Good tea develops its own flavor during fermentation/processing. I never saw the need for adding sugar or dairy.
