This is sort of a plea for the developers of this site to have automatic notifications whenever a post of yours is quoted... Other forums I subscribe to have this and would love to see it here.

I am not sure if they can do it with this software. It would create way to many notifications for me.

We do have quote notifications. Perhaps you haven't enabled them. Go to your General Settings and make sure that you select Private Messages - On. Then select New Private Message Notification Pop-up: Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up
Then scroll down to Quote Notifications (its just before Thread Display Options) and select Private Messages

I was actually only getting notifications for Thanks... I should have actually looked through setting before starting a thread.

I agree with you. All other forums like this that I participate in have reply alerts. Not having that here is why this forum is near the bottom of my list.
