The guy who did nothing other than record the incident should have faced a lesser charge. He had no role in running down or physically engaging with the kid.

Agreed. Their are some pretty insane laws on the books, laws that make no sense. Its best to do everything in your power to steer clear of having to deal with cops or getting yourself in court.

And I still say that anyone who voted for Trump, voted for the destruction of our very young experiment in self governance and small d democracy. But my tendency is to believe that they were simply misguided and lied to. That doesn't make them any less my fellow Americans.

Nothing Trump did comes close to Biden illegally mandating people to get vaccinated if they want to work. He should be arrested for that, unconstitutional and insanely authoritarian.
