In watching the videos in the Rittenhouse and Arburry cases, one of the things that struck me is that people are willing to attack someone who is visibly armed with a gun. It strikes me as a practically suicidal thing to do. Yet, there are a lot of people that seem to think that this type of behavior is not out of the ordinary.
So I'm sincerely asking if you would attack someone who is visibly armed? If the answer is "Yes," could you provide an explanation of why? Would it be something like you're trying to stop an active shooter, you think the person won't shoot you, you think they will get in trouble if they shoot you, you don't think it will hurt or kill you?
