For McD's - not in my area. Retirees and High School students. Full Disclosure Note: I represent one of the largest McDonald's franchises in our area.

How does it read that way? There's plenty of regulations. A corporation is merely shareholders combining capital to make money. How otherwise should that relationship be changed?

No you’re all wrong. I’ve seen a lot of McDonald’s in my lifetime and it’s mostly older people and immigrants. I worked in one when I was in high school. And it was just me and one other guy that were in high school working there. And honestly I don’t care if people in high school have a job or not. So let’s not bring up any issues related to them here finding work or something.

No, you're wrong. In our area, it's retirees and high school kids. For the high school kids it is the perfect job. It teaches them how to work under someone, follow a schedule, follow work rules, about taxes etc. For retirees - it gets them out of the house. I can't speak for your area b/c I don't know but that's how it is in my area.

When I’ve worked in retail there were very few people they hired in high school too compared to people who weren’t. Now I have seen a commercial by McDonald’s saying they’re “America’s best first job” in a very racist commercial where they depict the life of this Mexican girl clichely named Maria Ramirez. Like they couldn’t come up with a more original Mexican name? That commercial was so offensive to me. They pretty much suggest her whole life is owed to McDonald’s.

No it’s not in everywhere else though. Maybe in that ONE McDonald’s you go to.

C'mon man, lighten up - that's falsely finding racism and offense where none exists. Here's the commercial: https://www.ispot.tv/ad/IkYt/mcdonal...ias-graduation Not in any way offensive nor pandering. Would you prefer that McD's not spend $150,000,000 in tuition assistance?

Then there’s the one where the black guy gets accepted into college and goes to his boss and the whole staff cheers like it’s Charlie and the chocolate factory. They don’t like to depict white people working there apparently. And they give the workers in real life $#@!ty pay who aren’t anything like these actors.

What the hell would they be doing working at McDonald's for a career?

That is a place where kids start off or where you go if your work record is so bad that no one else would hire you.

But McDonald's has a huge investment going in place to replace these unsatisfied workers. Your order will be taken electronically. The new pay scale is zero and they can thank people that made ridiculous requests for wages that a machinist would make and shows up for work.
    Let's go Brandon !!!
