That's exactly right. They think one dimensionally and think the rest of us do too. Electric vehicles sound great in theory, but if you live in a place like I do, Northern New Mexico, up in high desert country, they are totally impractical. The nearest airport to me of any consequence is 180 miles away if I go south. 250 miles if I go north. A Tesla has a cruising range of about 400 miles. I could not even make it to the northern airport and back and could barely make it to the southern one.
Electric vehicles might be fine for city dwellers who drive 20 or 30 miles a day if that, but for the rest of us, they are pretty much useless.
