Trump didn't make a ruling, so it's not reversing anything.

In 2019, the Trump administration declined to set the standard. It said that this backstop had not been triggered because it made a "predicate determination" not to change standards for a subset of bulbs that includes LED bulbs.

So, now the current Administration is going to tell you what you can or cannot use to light your home. Is the number of TP sheets to be used coming next? After all, TP = wood pulp=trees cut down. What temperature your house may be kept at?

As to the light bulb restrictions, I have an uncivil hand motion in play. LED lights trigger migraine headaches for a number of people. But no worry! Those who react badly to LED will turn off all the lights in their home, and save even more energy that way (sarcasm included).

I would like to suggest to the people who see no problem with the continuing insertion of the government on private lives, the idea that the super greenies are not allowed to kayak in plastic kayaks, own electronic devices housed in plastics, buy any beverage dispensed in a plastic container.

Enough already. I am tired of people claiming they are doing something for 'my good' when they are violating it by the very substances they want to protect 'me' from.

Introduce something new like alternative lightbulbs, sell it as a consumer choice, then slowly but surely take the choice away!

I have a few LED bulbs in my house.
That being said, I hit the shelves at WM and pick their 60 and 75 watt incandescent bulbs when the urge hits me.
