    Wind storm last night.

Nothing like what some went through but lots of downed trees, power lines and power outages. Turned our 1 hour trip home from my daughters into more liek a three hour deal.
Localish ambulance hit a tree but all ok. Roads littered with small branches and neighbor's shingles in my yard this AM

    How about your hood?

There's nothing like a strong wind to remind us puny humans how small and powerless we really are.
Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.” - Robert E. Howard

We had a lot of wind on Saturday. And it was overcast all day.

We had a good bit of wind too. Ripped the tarp off of one of my equipment tents, which was dry rotted, and needed replacing anyways, but was still a pain in the ass. Bunch of stuff got soaked.

Miraculously, we didn't have any power outages. Our electric co-op had a tree company clearing around the lines in our area recently, so that must've helped. But they did miss a very large, very dead pine tree in my woods, so it's only a matter of time.
