The tpf Feature

So, I've noticed that the tpf feature does not not have a prompt in Rants and some other categories. By that I mean, when you start a thread, the "prefix window" in the upper left corner does not show... I had this same problem the other day when I want to start a thread in "current events" which did not display the prefix menu until the day after... Very strange. I've even tried the advanced feature at times and it doesn't show tpf either.

So can tpf be used in any forum or only some?

It usually does, however at that time, through multiple tries the feature did not show in the upper left corner.

I don't specifically know which ones do or do not. For someone to find out they'd have to check all of the forums. I am not inclined to do that for someone.

Why would you even look for the tPF feature in a category called Rants?

Some posters think it is okay to abuse the system by starting tPF threads and then call for the banning of any poster who posts something they don't like in that thread. It gives them a sense of power they probably lack in their every day lives.

I've seen a TB issued for a response of only "I disagree."
