Putin's demands are quite reasonable . If the US continues to base their foreign policy on lies and obfuscations , they will pay a heavy price . The world has changed....and not to the US advantage . They have lost their prescious dominance , and they won't be getting it back .....big deal - it's time to get over it.

Putin isn’t a reasonable person, nor are his demands. Putin has assassinated his political rivals and critics, has implemented strict controls on the media and has used state sponsored media to spread his personal propaganda. He’s also invaded and occupied an independent nation and half of another. He’s a corrupt tyrant who thrives on Russia’s insecurity and corruption. He’s not the good guy in this situation. The US and other NATO countries aren’t exactly perfect, but they’re far better than Putin.
I’m not an American.
While I fully understand that the US and other NATO countries are far from innocent, they aren’t the same as Putin. There hasn’t been a US president that has controlled the country for 20 years like Putin has. While the the political parties in the US are deeply divided, they don’t poison or assassinate their political rivals. They don’t subvert and control the media like Putin does. They don’t become billionaires through their office like Putin has.
Putin is popular because Russia is insecure after the fall of the USSR. And they want a strongman who will return them to their former glory, and Putin uses that to rule over them like a dictator. He’s an excellent manipulator.
…and I’m from Canada. Where are you from?
I'm Australian .....do you import your drinking water from south of the Canadian border ?
