Maybe this belongs in rants, but I honestly have to ask, what is the downside to the voting rights bill failing to pass? Are duly elected Republicans legislators going to pass bills that the majority of their constituents support? Bills that are far less restrictive than the ones southern Democrats used to have? Going back to the way things were circa 2016? That would be an "end to democracy" to libs? Give me a break. Left-wingers don't care about the voting laws that blue states have.
