The politicians are afraid that if they do not do something, even when they know it does nothing, then people will blame them for doing nothing.

Let's look at the MSM and public view of the government if they did not have lock downs, mandates, Trump had not run operation warp speed...

Some people and press would be screaming that our government did NOTHING!

Had we done nothing then maybe we would have hit herd immunity early and this whole pandemic would have been over.

We do live in a country filled with Karens.

Everyone screams that the government didn't do something, their government check is late, they didn't give them enough, they want free day care, they don't want to work unless they make big bucks to do nothing...

We started the slide and we are on it. Even Conservatives look forward to their Medicare and SS check. Yes we paid for it but we already know they spent it already. They did not put it in a lock box.
