It may be regional. This has a relatively 'small town' flavor. It's why I'm here.

Can you cite a couple of specific examples? Not doubting you, I'm just curious what you're seeing at Walmart.

Full family in sleep-wear. At noon.
Being that we have several recreational lakes nearby, bathing suits (what there is of them) with no shorts, coverups or anything over the bathing suit.
Jam shorts, with muscle t and fuzzy slippers (one of my favorites)

    You get the drift.

We do get a lot of Amish people at our Walmarts. Does that count? You even see the occasional horse drawn buggy tied to a light pole. But most of them hire these big passenger vans that pull an enclosed trailer.

I have no problems with the Amish or the Hasidic or Muslims. I enjoy their different ways of doing things, and those that choose their traditional dress.

I actually don't have a problem with anyone who doesn't have a problem with me. Someone comes at me with an attitude of any sort, I can revert to NJ in less than 10 seconds.

The visual on some of the apparel of WalMart patrons is what entertains me for a passing moment. I have no issue with most physical aspects, other than those that can be avoided. Spandex and obesity do not go together, I don't care who you are.
