The data are very clear that even people who have had COVID are better protected against serious illness and death if they also get vaccinated. The stubbornness of the ignorant remains the biggest impediment to reducing the effect of this virus.

Clear, counselor? IF I were a judge, I'd call you down for that.
Just what is so clear and where did that information come from?
Fauci? The CDC? Oz's ABC station?
Where are the studies that even begin to back up so bold a statement?
Clear to some does not mean clear to others.
I could say this and get away with it: It is clear to many in here you wish all of us to kneel to your expertise in all things virology. It may also be clear to some of us in here that you are no attorney. Your style of writing betrays you.
Ergo, you rely upon someone else's words to conflate.

I had people ask me that because I did not get a mild case of COVID. I was hit with "don't you think the vaccine saved your life?", to which my response was "how the hell would I know".

People like Richard who praise the Trump vaccine will think it saved your life. They will show you all kinds of proof to show you how Trump saved your life.

As a Trump supporter I should be sending out the message that Trump saved my life that Fauci and Collins tried to take from me.

Using old COVID data gathered under other variants means little with the current strain.

But we do thank Richard for his support of Trump's successes.

I get it. People like you have chosen to ignore actual factual information about COVID and the vaccines and are guided by your stubborn ignorance. Hundreds of thousands of additional Americans are dead because of the lies people like you disseminate, but there's not much that can be done about that at this point. You're profoundly wrong, but will never admit it.

Your article doesn't debunk anything, all it does is make assumptions and then claim victory. You know, in typical liberal fashion.

I am always amused that you guys use a phrase like "typical liberal fashion" to refer to reliance on facts and scientific data. It's not the insult you seem to think it is.

To be fair, your article said nothing to dispute the data. It just attacked the same data that everyone else is using. I saw no data in your article.

However, I suspect this is a blip in the data and it will smooth out over time. But that does not say great things for the claim that it decreases the effects. What happened through Delta is no longer relevant. Biden never made sure we had a new vaccine. The CDC and NIH never made sure we had a new vaccine. They were too busy selling vaccines for their own wealth.

There was no data in your article. It merely said the data on the unvaccinated is "likely wrong". It also made assumptions about behavior. If you can cite any actual data from your article, I'd be happy to entertain it.
