The age of the earth is a wild guess based on more guesses and assumptions. Period.

Uranium thorium lead dating is educated guess work as well. Science is full of unknowns.
I think you are confusing politics where an error of a couple of decades might be important.

Your goofy comment about Earth's age made me smile. Oh, period.

What goofy comment? I have never given an estimation of the age of the Earth. No one knows.

We have a good estimate. I was mocking your certainty. Period.

What certainty? I say no one knows for certain. Not me, you or any scientist. Estimates vary.

Some things just fly right over your head.

It takes a little out of it when one must explain it to, well, you. The estimated age of the Earth is not a wild guess. It is based on the way uranium decays. It is based on a search for the oldest earth rocks. If we find older rocks we may discover the Earth is older than we believe.

It is not a wild guess.

Yes, wild guesses based largely on things we don’t know. What’s worse is some don’t know that they don’t know.

You made this up and are dishonestly trying to pass it off as being true. You canít argue your side without spreading lies.
