We could supply the rest of the world with wheat if we wanted to.

Theres no reason that there should be a wheat shortage in the US. The wheat harvest just from three states is more than enough.

    Right.

People may be surprised to know that some "Italian" pasta is made with wheat from places like South Dakota.

The wheat produced in Kansas, S Dakota and Washington state alone can provide all the wheat we need.

True. Our neighbor to the north also produces a lot of wheat. Wheat just isn't a concern.

How could there possibly be a shortage of wheat? We even harvest winter wheat. The only way we could have a shortage of wheat is if government ordered then enforced a shut-down of US wheat production.

There has never been a presidency which has been this much of a grabasstic abortion as this administration. Even the Carter years weren’t this bad.

Well it's only just spring now in wheat country here and in Ukraine, so we just plant more and export less, if necessary. The Russians also grow these crops, as do the Chinese. Plus, I don't think the Russians have been destroying farms, they have been attacking cities.
