Russia has a large population of conservatives, but like America, they have their lefts too. The ones I know in Russia are independent Baptist like me and love it there. The young men from Romania that visited over a year ago has to watch what they say or get visited by police.

No offense but you strike me as a Religious Conservative not a Real Conservative. Am I wrong? Are you more George Bush or more Rand Paul? You chime in when their are religious questions and comment so I have not seen your views on big government, borders, and issue of individuality over the state.Originally Posted by roadmaster

Only about 7% of Russia attends church weekly.

I am certainly not a conservative by that definition.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.
