    It seems as though it's just a matter of time before some large dam fails. It sounds as though it would be catastrophic in many locations.

    I wonder if dams are ever considered a target for sabotage from terrorists or others?

    Of course.

    The Mosul Damn in Iraq was an al Q (then ISIS) target, and the US put a lot of effort into protecting it. Had al Q blown it, hundreds of thousands would have died.

    I hope the dams in the US are likewise monitored and protected. After watching the OP film--I found it fascinating and disturbing--I got to wondering how hard/easy it would be to target a dam.

    Would it require a strike from the air? If so, that would limit assault, right? Or, would it be possible for sneaky divers to place charges along the dam under water?
