It has been said--I will not attempt to confirm it--that Leonid Brezhnev considered then-President Nixon to be mentally unbalanced; that he thought Nixon might just wake up one day, and imagine that it would be great fun to nuke Moscow.

Again, I cannot say for certain that this is true.

Whether or not it is, however, I do wish that Joe Biden could convince Vladimir Putin that he might just do this, for lack of mental stability.

Perhaps this would cause Putin to be a bit more careful.
