My mom didn't wear glasses in those days, but she had sunglasses in that style, haha. I kinda like the horn rimmed glasses.

I didn't then but, I kinda do now. Some women can pull them off.

One first impression takeaway is that as a professional working woman she had no problem being feminine and attractive in the work place. If you have skills no need to crop hair and wear pant suits.

I kind feel your concern as my Mother was killed in a car accident 29 years ago. However, thanks to our Democrat friends, I can now ask any senior citizen male to be my new mother.

When I was born, all of my Grandparents, and two (or three?) of my Great-grandmothers were alive.

My maternal Grandmother (RIP) was my Primary Parent.

I did not know my Great-grandmothers much. Two of my great-grandmothers and all my great-grandfathers were not alive when I was born. I am proud of them and grateful to them for their role in building Democratic and Egalitarian Socialism -- Russia 1917 to 1920s. Tyrannical Socialism came into being during Joseph Stalin's rule in 1930s.

What if you prefer to wear pant suits? If you wear skirts, you have to wear pantyhose and generally uncomfortable shoes. Pantyhose are cold in winter and hot in summer. Try wearing a skirt when it's below freezing and the wind is blowing under your skirt and freezing your nether region! Try wearing pumps and other dainty women's shoes and see what they do to your feet. Most women who wear those things until retirement end up with painful bunions that need surgical correction. They banned Japanese foot binding. Women's dress shoes are not much better.
