Similar to what I was about to say. That these extreme views are present on Twitter, Tik-Tok, etc., gives you a good reason to either go somewhere else, or at least to not take them so seriously. In the long run the only folks whose opinion of you matters at all are the ones who know you in real life, and the angry, extreme, accusatory opinions of certain people about men or anyone else have little to no power there. If you choose to "live" in that make-believe social media world, be prepared to either deal with or ignore what lurks there.
CC, as to not feeling like you want to call yourself a "liberal", why should you feel forced to label yourself as anything? In some contexts and regarding some questions of public policy or the law I'm what most people would call a "liberal", but there are at least as many if not more things that bring out the "conservative" side of my beliefs and thinking. Labeling yourself just gives people an excuse to think they know what your views on a given topic are going to be before you've had a chance to state them.
