Occasionally we did. They were more informal and brief though.
As a Platoon Sergeant I was required to attend battalion and often brigade AAR’s. Also a PSG was expected to participate, not just sit there and listen.
I had one battalion commander who was an armor guy and my infantry company was attached to his battalion to develop the Infantry /Armor Task Force.
He generally started an AAR off by asking an infantry platoon sergeant to tell us all what he thought of that operation. If you hemmed and hawed, he’d crucify you.
The only time that was not the case was when then COL. Wesley Clark was my brigade commander. He was a punk snd a jackass who didn’t care what anyone else had to say. I don’t know of one person of any rank in that unit who actually respected him as a leader or a man.

I figured this would have triggered a certain someone. Maybe he got conscripted too.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.
