Outdoor plans for Spring/Summer

I am scheduled to be there 4 full days but will only have 1 full day and 2 half days for Civil War sightseeing. I will be at a conference
in Richmond the rest of the time. I have a full day on Thursday, 6/9, for sightseeing. Spotsylvania all morning and Fort Harrison National Cemetery and Shockoe Hill Cemetery in the afternoon is the plan. Friday morning is Sailor's Creek. Sunday afternoon is Williamsburg. Flying into Richmond Wednesday evening and flying out Monday morning.

There is plenty of history around Richmond. I lived there for 5 years and still did not get to see it all.

I've been there one other time in January 2016. I went to Petersburg, Five Forks, Confederate White House, Museum Of The Confederacy, Tredegar Iron Works, Hollywood Cemetery, Gaines' Mill and Cold Harbor.

Already purchased. Hat and 100% cotton long sleeve t-shirts too. Mainly just going to visit Redoubt Park, Fort Magruder, the old wartime building on the campus of William & Mary, Cedar Grove Cemetery and Bruton Parish Episcopal Church Cemetery.

I may do some SCUBA diving picking crab and spear fishing Ling Cod

I always wanted to try spear fishing but given my current weight I tend to float too well.

May- August I have 3 weekend trips scheduled at Lake Whitney in Hill County, Texas...weekends of swimming, wakeboarding and fine eating. In August, my wife and I are taking our kids and grandkids to a big waterpark/resort type place in Round Rock, Texas for 4 days. In June, I have a solo trip to Virginia scheduled. Going to Spotsylvania, Williamsburg and Sailor's Creek.

Sounds like a blast
