He is a fine looking fellow and rescue dogs usually make very good companions. Have you come up with a name yet? We always named them right away and then sort of regretted it when the name didn't really fit their personalities!

I am proud to say my family never had a dog that was not a rescue. That includes a lovable poodle my mother took in because neighbors who were moving no longer wanted Sadie.

When I visited I was a bit prejudiced because to me a dog is more like a Shepherd breed not a toy. But Sadie insisted in being in my room downstairs overnight and I was converted!

The vet said he will only get about 80lbs and he's already reached half that weight. I was hoping for a dog only around 50lbs so 80lbs is plenty big for me.

You just got yourself a friend for life! A loyal, adorable, smart, way-too-cute friend.

I've had many saint bernards so I know big dogs.

    I love all dogs!

Do dogs really like to be under a blanket like that? I've lived with 7 cats at this point, and they all hate/hated being under anything.

Thor was named already when I got him and I couldn’t rename him. It just seemed wrong to me even though I don’t think he looks or acts like a Thor. Maybe he’ll grow into it.

I don't know if all dogs do. My little Chuweenie loves it. Demands it actually.

They do when it’s early March and overcast with a cold breeze coming in off the ocean. It was his first time seeing the ocean and being on the beach. He loved the trip and appreciated the blanket.

I mean... congratulations, I guess. Perhaps a puppy will have a salutary effect on your hateful disposition, though I doubt it.

A couple of our cats love being under a blanket, head and all. Our one elderly cat makes a little cave out of his blankets, crawls all the way in and turns around so the only thing exposed is his head. He demands my wife accompany him to his "fluffs" every night, lol. All she has to say is, "are you ready to get in your fluffs?"
