All the bunnies we see around here are quite small. My wife's dog Lily has very sharp eyes and can spot one in someone's yard a half a block away when on her early morning walk. She desperately wants to get closer, but knowing her temperament if she had one right in front of her she would just sniff it and want to make friends.
We also used to get raccoons visiting our back yard, but I haven't seen one lately. I see the occasional coyote trotting through the neighborhood, singly or in pairs. We are sometimes visited by hawks - Harris' or red tails - and we have several great horned owls living in the trees surrounding our house. Once a great blue heron was spotted sitting on our roof staring down into the wife's goldfish pond, inspiring her to cover it with Kevlar netting.
A lot of other birds, including Mexican doves, inhabit the front yard. Our favorites are the quail, for which the wife buys special blocks of seed to place under the bushes.
