Miscarriages were mentioned several times as if they had relevance. The idea seemed to be that God done it and if you object to abortion how do explain that. If that's not your intent, Old Guy gave the correct answer.

From a historical perspective, undermining Christianity was a central project of the left. That's not debatable. Why is it so hard to believe that is still the case?

In Jeremiah God says He knew you before you were born. There are also other passages that indicate God created you and knew you before you were fully formed. In Psalm 139, the psalmist says to God: “Thou didst see my limbs unformed in the womb, and in thy book they are all recorded.” “It is extremely powerful, the idea in this psalm, that in this 'unformed' embryo God already sees the whole future,”
That's just silly. I read the two biblical references posted by Old Guy (quoted above) and it immediately prompted the observation that they apply whether there is a live birth or a miscarriage but they don't express any intent. Only God's knowledge. Since God is omniscient there is nothing He doesn't know, past, present or future, so those pieces of scripture don't really convey anything more than that.

Your argument presupposes the existence of God.

The quoted pieces of scripture presuppose the existence of God. I confined my argument to the material presented.

“It is extremely powerful, the idea in this psalm, that in this 'unformed' embryo God already sees the whole future,” is Pope Benedict. See https://www.irishtimes.com/news/pope...enedict%20said.

It says nothing about miscarriages. You added that:

And you add all this about intent and knowledge and omniscience.

So I ask again, do you accept the existence of God? If you do not then your argument is more than faulty, it is disingenuous.
