Equity Theory As a (Terrible) Strategy for Growth

    Equity is illegal, unconstitutional.

Equity Theory As a (Terrible) Strategy for Growth

...What equity means is current discrimination now to make up for other discrimination against other people by other people in the past. And it also means dividing national wealth and power by a racial spoils system, with each racial and other identity-based group getting a proportional share, in disregard of individual accomplishment.

Don’t take my word for it. In the words of Ibram X. Kendi, universally recognized as an avatar of equity, “the only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.” Likewise he has proclaimed that “when I see racial disparities, I see racism,” such that equity requires the absence of disparities in racial outcomes. These assertions are not outliers, and these claims for equity have been extended on other surface-characteristic grounds, including sex, orientation and ethnicity.

There are many reasons why sensible corporate executives who retain fidelity to their fiduciary and moral duties to make their companies prosper would stay well away from anything to do with equity. Discrimination by race, sex, ethnicity and orientation isn’t just illegal; it’s unconstitutional....

Oops, didn't get to the economic problem. But you can follow the link to read about that.

I said that early on. These boards that are allowing Woke crap as goals are opening themselves up to lawsuits. Unfortunately it has become very widespread, even in the major investment houses that handle most peoples' retirement accounts.

The end goal is to completely destroy concepts like Individual Rights (including property rights) and Equal Protection of the Law. When that happens "Social Justice" Equality of Outcome Marxism along with Protected Group Rights can take over the legal system, the political system, and the economy.

The race to the bottom is the goal of the left. The worse off everyone is, the more equitable we will be.

Capitalism requires pay for performance. No one gets lifted up by parity.

No two people are going to be exactly alike, they are not going to have the same strengths, skills, and weaknesses, they are not going to have the same failures and successes, they are not going to have the same values, they are not going to have the same wealth, or earn the same amount of money. To expect people, or groups of people to have the exact same outcomes at every level is completely ridiculous and impractical. To have everyone exactly the same is only the goal of the political school of Marxism, Socialism, Communism, and the like.

IOW, we all start off with various advantages and that's natural. And just as naturally, Pareto principle, we end up at different places.

Also, Nozick, countering Rawls, offered the Wilt Chamberlain argument. Say we redistribute all wealth equally. Wilt is so good people will pay extra to see him play. Eventually, they will be poor and he will be rich.

The DNC might be doing the right thing if they were burning it down to start Capitalism and the republic again. Instead of proven failures like socialism and only can fails like green new bull$#@!
It's not Capitalism or the Constitution rather the problems come from corruptions of those things. The Founders knew that would happen and wrote about it but no one listened
Take the crony out of Capitalism and limit the government again along with some empathy and compassion and it would all work well again

I think it was Elon Musk who said:
The problem with Biden is he thinks he was elected to transform the country.
He was elected because people were tired of the constant drama.

LCD: lowest common denominator. That is where equity lies for the masses.
