Is that not a cultural choice?

So many sexist and racist ads, but some of the comments below the ads were hysterical. I'm pretty sure the writer was female based on the sarcasm regarding the way they were marketing to women.

    Yeah, too funny!

What struck me the most was the difference in health ideas. Babies drinking soda pop, kids eating marshmallow creme sandwiches, advocating brands of smokes.

Advertisers could make virtually any claims...

They certainly could. They stopped just short of pushing tobacco on children.

The recipes made me laugh. 7-Up and milk - blechh! How about that Kraft creation with the pineapple - yikes! However, I still remember the gross Kraft recipes on TV. They put marshmallows and Miracle Whip in everything.

Commercials sure have come a long way.

Today, anything goes, nothing is off limits.

Today's Commercials show women shaving their crotches (bikini area) and, men talking about the comfort of their testicles.

I've noticed they're no longer using blue liquid to demonstrate the absorbency of feminine napkins. Now it's red. Fortunately, they aren't making it look super realistic!
