    Hybrid EVs

I have seen commercials about a hybrid electric vehicle. Notwithstanding that it likely has low hp with its combustion engine, this could solve the range issue. However, it does eliminate the engineering simplicity offered by an EV.

Would this hybrid EV be acceptable to the Green Cult that wants to end the combustion engine by 2035 (sale of new)?

No. I never thought I would own a Prius but bought a used one for around town. I now call it my magic carpet. Good choice seeing the new gas prices.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

Toyota perfected Hybrids with their Prius, its been around since 1997....I was skeptical but I drove a friends from the moose club and I was surprised, it had plenty of power and rode well, it was a hatchback.

Would I buy a ford, chevy or Jeep Chrysler...no probably not....I would consider a hybrid but some like Hondas Crv hybrid..is worthless you pay 2 grand more and the mileage is the same on the highwayt...Thes recent ones from companys, lack what Prius long ago perfected in some cases

I bought a 2009 Ford Escape hybrid. Not to be Green, but to drive in the HOV lanes to and from work. Did that for 10 years until they phased in the EZ Pass system. Now I have to pay.

But 10 years of HOV - priceless.

I think Prius now has an EV hybrid. As well as the 2022 Ford Escape.

My thoughts of a Prius is that my wives friend went head on with a Cadillac that crossed into her lane. She survived but the two people in the Cadillac didn't.
