Shopping carts are so yesterday. Lol

I like to ride around on those electric scooters in walmart while I eat rotisserie chicken and sample a bottle of wine. Gotta swing by the BBQ sauce aisle and pick up a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Vidalia Onion sauce for the chicken and grab a roll of paper towels.

This is a modern version of the cart my mom used to get groceries home. We only had one car and dad worked long hours.
I remember walking with my mom to and from the supermarket with one of these. Everything was stacked in paper bags.
    Those were the old days.

Take a back pack.... that's what I do. I walk home with the heavy stuff in the back pack and I also carry a shopping bag with straps which I can switch from hand to hand when I get tired.

How did you guess the 18 Pack was maximum one arm carry load when walking to the store?

When i lived for a brief time in the PNWest, I would have to go to Fred Myers a mile away, on my bike, for a 30 pack. Could get 28 in the backpack and the last 2 in the pouches on the outside. It was heavy.

It was a steep climb all the way there. But little effort going downhill. Had to ride the brake.

One time there was no traffic. So i let it role! When I got to the bottom of the hill, I was going 45mph!! Took forever to brake! Just stopped short of the next busy intersection.

When I dismounted in the parking lot, the front tire blew out.

I thought about that and never did anything like that again.

I could have gotten killed or worse yet, lost all my beers.
